About Us

We're Mickey and Elisa — a husband-and-wife team who met as Stanford freshmen in 1997, eloped our sophomore year, raised six kids across Palo Alto, Dallas, and New York City, and eventually found our way to the Berkshires, where our dream of building homes has come true. Mickey brings over two decades of construction and project management experience — he's led the design and opening of hundreds of retail stores for Fortune 500 companies, run large-scale corporate projects, and built a career doing projects on time, on budget, and done right. Elisa has spent 20 years studying traditional and historic architecture and the last decade designing and renovating homes herself, drawn especially to Shaker design and its quiet insistence on simplicity, honesty, and things made to last.
