I first started researching house building in 2013 right after moving from Brooklyn to the country.

I looked at so many systems and methods and companies - and none were what I wanted (or could afford).

 

But when I came across this timber-frame style, all-wood, energy-efficient house kit that amateurs could build, I knew that's what I was looking for!
